Pictured is Mrs Doris May Rose (nee Matthews), with her horse and cart when she first started at the Worksop Co-op Society around 1940. She stayed there delivering milk using the electric hand cart until about 1970 when she went into the office checking and receiving “books” from the various rounds and totting up the takings.

Rotherham: MP and council leader tour cancer services

Rother Valley MP Kevin Barron visited Rotherham Hospital to witness first hand the cancer patient pathway and speak with specialists. Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust welcomed him along with John Healey MP and Rotherham Council leader Roger Stone. They toured the outpatient unit for cancer services and the health information area. Mr Barron was impressed with the way cancer services were being delivered.
